Mr. Wimmer has been involved in investigations and security consulting for 37 years. He served for nearly 22 years in the U. S. Air Force, the majority of that time as a Special Agent with the Office of Special Investigations (OSI), where he was responsible for felony-level criminal and fraud investigations, anti-terrorism and counterespionage operations. He has also spent more than 15 years in corporate security and investigations mostly with various divisions of a major security services provider. During his long career, he has conducted and supervised thousands of investigations and security consulting projects around the world. Mr. Wimmer has worked in more than 40 countries and in every state within the United States. He has lived abroad for 18 years and has worked in Asia, the Near East, Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America and even on the Polar Ice Cap. He has special expertise in workplace security issues such as asset protection, employee theft and purchasing fraud, workplace violence prevention, travel security, crisis management/business continuity planning, countering industrial/business espionage and risk assessments/Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) assessments. He was responsible for conducting security and risk/vulnerability assessments for the City and County of Denver in the wake of 9/11, as well as for a number of businesses as diverse as: multiple major telecommunications companies, a building developer, multiple state financial institution sites, a retail mall and multiple financial institutions, multiple high-rise buildings, multiple medical centers, a food packaging manufacturer, a bio-engineer food company, a soup company, multiple high-tech manufacturing facilities, multiple software developers, multiple schools (both international and domestic), a private university site, a gated retirement community, high-risk non-profit association sites, an insurance provider’s headquarters and call centers as well as warehouses/distribution centers for multiple business entities. He was also responsible for conducting risk assessments for public/private utilities including more than 50 water/waste water systems around the world, a number of which were affiliated with the U.S. Air Force. He developed Emergency Response and Crisis Management/Business Continuity plans for dozens of international clients including all of General Motors/Delphi Automotive Systems facilities in Asia and for water entities throughout the United States. He helped develop Microsoft’s international security policies/ procedures and counter industrial espionage program and has worked on international security issues with other major corporations such as Hershey Foods. He is a contractor for many of the world’s largest and best known investigations/security providers, including: Pinkerton/Securitas, Wackenhut, Vance/Garda, Kroll and Andrews International. Mr. Wimmer also has extensive experience in dealing with international terrorism having worked against terrorists targeting the Crown Prince of Iran, U.S. forces in Berlin during the first Gulf War, against radical Islamic fundamentalists and the New People’s Army in the Philippines after the eruption of the Mount Pinatubo volcano, and, against al-Qaeda affiliates in Pakistan after the assassination of five Union Texas Petroleum employees in Karachi.

Mr. Wimmer has been designated a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by ASIS International (formerly the American Society of Industrial Security), has served as an officer in multiple chapters globally and is a regular speaker at the organization’s annual convention. He was the founding chairman of Taiwan’s ASIS chapter. He is certified in Homeland Security (Level III) with the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute and is certified both as an operative and a trainer in the Sandia Laboratory’s Risk Assessment Methodology for chemical facilities. He is also a member of the Espionage Research Institute. A recognized expert on security and investigative matters, Mr. Wimmer has spoken around the world on international terrorism, business espionage, crisis management/business continuity planning, travel security and dealing with business fraud, purchasing fraud and kickbacks. He has appeared on CNN, CNBC, National Public Radio, ABC/Discovery Channel as well as television and radio from Taiwan to Pakistan, Hong Kong to Colorado and Florida. He has been interviewed by such international publications as Newsweek, Business Week, the International Herald Tribune and USA Today. He also has served as the Section Chief for the chemical infrastructure section and was on the Board of Directors of the FBI-hosted Colorado/Wyoming Infragard Chapter. Mr. Wimmer is a member of the ASIS Council on Information Asset Protection. He is a regular lecturer at the University of Colorado, has been an instructor on water security for the American Water Works Association and has taught a number of Homeland Security courses for local, state and federal government entities.

Name: James A. Acevedo, CPS Title: Consultant Education: Nolen Security Training, Tactical Handgun Training, Precision Shooting Concepts, Laboratory of Scientific Interrogation (LSI), Counter Assault Team (CAT), Executive Security International Level One Agent Experience: Mr. Acevedo has been involved in security and investigations for the past decade. He has served as an investigator and consultant for various companies including Excelsior Defense, Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations and Wackenhut Investigations Division. He received "The Service Appreciation Award" from Securitas/Pinkerton in recognition of outstanding service during the recovery from 9/11. Mr. Acevedo is a Certified Protection Specialist (CPS), having graduated from Executive Security International, as a level-one agent. He has considerable expertise in executive protection and workplace violence prevention providing on-the-ground support at various businesses experiences workplace violence threats, including a special high risk operation at AK Steel. Mr. Acevedo also has international experience and was an active member of “Action Response Teams“, a Kidnap & Ransom protection unit in Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. He also has considerable expertise in Undercover Operations having served as both an actual operative and as a supervisor of multiple operations including a long-term operation at Rutgers University. His experience in consulting includes working on the Risk Assessment of the City County and of Denver, and at Qwest Communications facilities in Colorado. He has studied Scientific Content Analysis at the Laboratory for Scientific Interrogation in Salt Lake City, Utah and has used the technique to assist in resolving a number of theft and fraud investigations. Finally, Mr. Acevedo has supervised a number of complex intellectual property protection investigations including several requiring detailed due diligence investigation support and determining product diversion tactics. He has also worked as an independent contractor on details for government services including the United States Air Force and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the latter support provided in difficult conditions in the wake of hurricanes in Florida. Professional: Mr. Acevedo studied Aviation Engineering and, later, Human Behavior Science. Completed the Scientific Content Analysis Course at the Laboratory for Scientific Interrogation and the level-one training at Executive Security International. He is a member of the International ASIS (formerly American Society of Industrial Security) and is studying for his Certified Protection Professional examination. Name: Catalina Imelda M. Capuno, CSP Title: Director of Investigations and Assistant Director for Consulting Education: B.S. in Criminology from the Philippine College of Criminology Experience: Ms. Capuno has been involved in security and investigations for nearly 17 years and was one of the founders of Business Stratagem Support Group, which is incorporated within the Philippines. Prior to assuming this position she provided investigative and consulting services to Hill and Associates, Control Risk Group, Pacific Strategies and Assessment, several law firms in the Philippines and also served as both an investigator and a security consultant with Pinkerton. Some of her investigative projects were personally recognized and commended by clients for a job exceptionally well done and Pinkerton recognized her contribution to the company with a citation that read: “Her outstanding operational successes were often times against the most difficult subjects that others were not able to penetrate. As a result the threats were neutralized.” Her ability to conduct and supervise investigations resulted in her being handpicked to conduct investigations on behalf of other offices within Pinkerton Asia. Her investigations established the international nature of criminal and intellectual property problems in Asia. She has been responsible for conducting commercial investigations, due diligence, intellectual property, fraud and background investigations and has served as both an operative and a supervisor of a number of challenging undercover operations. She has also conducted numerous risk and vulnerability assessments for clients in the Philippines. Ms. Capuno began her career as a security officer in a large Manila hotel and also served as a security officer in a major shopping center. Later she moved into management as the manager in charge of recruitment and selection of security personnel for Soliman Security Agency’s Asian Development Bank client. Ms. Capuno also served as an investigator and supervisor of the Bank’s emergency response team. Additionally, she was employed at the United States Embassy in Manila as a part of the Embassy’s Anti-Terrorism Team. She did intelligence collections, provided personal protection and participated in security operations at the Embassy. As a result she gained considerable expertise regarding the threats facing the international community in the Philippines. She also has developed excellent connections with local law enforcement, judicial and government agencies in the Philippines. Professional: Ms. Capuno is a licensed Criminologist in the Philippines. She is a member of the Philippine Society of Industrial Security and has been designated a Certified Security Professional (CSP) by the society. She attended numerous training programs, seminars and conferences -- not only in the Philippines but also abroad -- and has even lived in the United States.
